Because of that NCIS needs to find a new successor for Ziva. Here’s an exclusive from TV Line, the CBS procedural has tapped Sopranos alumna Emily Wickersham for a frequent guest blemish with a potential to be a full-timer on its upcoming eleventh season.
Wickersham, according to the site, has been cast as a
“potential successor to Cote de Pablo’s Ziva.” The actress has booked a
three-episode guest arc on NCIS where she will play a somewhat socially awkward
new agent named “Bishop”. That's her name? Bishop? Geez! Hope she’ll do great
live up to Ziva’s character.
Bishop was described
as bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, and very focus. She has
this mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and
idealism character. She is traveled broadly, but only feels comfortable at home.
