Bones Season 9 Episode 2 Promo and a Leap of Faith

Season 9 started off miserable for Bones and Booth, from the previous season, Booth back off in their engagement because of the Pelant’s threat where Bones started to doubt Booth’s faith.  Booth couldn’t risk the life of 5 random people that could possibly dies if he marry Temperance.  At the same time, Booth felt bad for breaking Bones heart.

While Angela criticizes Booth for breaking her best friend’s heart, she really loves Bones and she’d always been there for her.  So she got hurt when she heard about the Booth call off the engagement. In the other hand, Booth really, really wants to kill Pelant because he felt that he had no other choice but to do it. In this episode also, Mather Zickel plays the role of Booth’s priest-turned-barkeep pal will serve as “somewhat of a touchstone this season for secrets,” offers exec producer Stephen Nathan, who reveals that both Booth and Brennan will seek his counsel as they attempt to resolve their seemingly insurmountable relationship issues. “He’s a neutral party that Booth can go to and talk freely,” notes the EP. “And when Brennan finds out about him, she feels she can talk freely with him as well.” Isn’t great to see a new character, a really cool guy too.

In this episode, The Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of Adam Park, a management consultant whose remains were found being eaten by bobcats. When evidence leads the team to a marriage retreat site, Brennan and Booth go undercover as previous personas "Roxie" and "Tony" to try to find more evidence. While at the retreat, Brennan and Booth meet fellow married couple Bill and Evelyn Schumacher, whose relationship seems a little too perfect. Meanwhile, Cam gets mistakenly arrested when her identity is stolen and Sweets decides to take a leave from the FBI.
